Oh blog, I've been bad

So bad. I haven't posted in a while. By the way, the charity auction raised over $600, which was all donated to a few different charities. To all of you who bid, or at least checked out the auction, thanks so much. You made a difference to a few people this holiday season.

Also, the reason for my long-time leave, I've been working on finishing a book. I'll have a much better post when I'm completely finished, but for now, a small snapshot of a character who has almost no significance in the story... Just a good looking guy. Our friend, the octopus.
