Dem Bones: Checkerbone by Sarah Watson

A preview shot of Checkerbone, a super cool skull and bone checkerboard print, to get you ready for Dem Bones, coming out this fall with Cloud 9 Fabrics. As it gets closer and closer to it's release date (see below on where to buy), I keep thinking of more and more items that Dem Bones would be perfect for. I'm going through them print by print, so here's what I'm thinking of for Checkerbone!

-tablecloth! Remember when you get back from trick-or-treating, and you just dump out all your candy on the floor? Maybe it'd be nice to have something underneath, you know? With a Skullstripe border!
-okay, boy's boxers (again?!?), I mean, this whole collection, right? Boy's clothing
-I think these Wiksten Tova's look great in gingham, and I just bought the pattern. What is Checkerbone, but a large gingham, right? Super cute for Moms going trick or treating
-A bandana. I've already got this marked down, I'm making a bandana!

And here's some stuff I've said before, but I'll say it again, incase you missed it!

Colors I'm thinking will go really nicely with Dem Bones (I mean, other than all of them, since it's black and white, it'll really go nicely with everything) are chartreuse, ochre yellow, pea green, ruby, all the neons, and of course, simple creme. More exact colors to come!

More about Cloud 9's GOTS quilting weight cotton. Wait, what? GOTS? What is GOTS? Is that a nice way of saying 'I GOTS to have this fabric!'? Maybe. But it also stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, and is one of the highest standards for organic products out there. If you'd like to read more about it, check out the Global Standard website, and if you'd like to know more about why choosing organic fabric is a good idea, check out Cloud 9's website. For where to buy, check out Cloud 9's FAQ's on their website. They have links for online shoppingstores in the USA, and International. And if you'd like to buy products made form Cloud 9 fabrics, they have links to those too!
