Dem Bones: Tombstone Vine

Here's a little peek of Tombstone Vine, from Dem Bones. I love this botanical. I know that sounds very 'toot my own horn'-ish, but I really do love this one. There's nothing like a good hand drawn two tone botanical. Especially if there's a hidden element. I mean, it's not really hidden, I can see it. You can too, right? Anyway, this is such a perfect print for sweet little girls, who sort of have a little hard core edge. Maybe a tattoo artist Mom and a Dad who's in a band? Right? It'd be a sweet dress. On these posts before I listed what I was planning on making with the fabric...but it's kinda vague. I think this would be used well in quilts, apparel and crafting. Does that cover my bases? I'll use it for everything!! Mwuaahahah!

And here's some stuff I've said before, but I'll say it again, incase you missed it!

Colors I'm thinking will go really nicely with Dem Bones (I mean, other than all of them, since it's black and white, it'll really go nicely with everything) are chartreuse, ochre yellow, pea green, ruby, all the neons, and of course, simple creme.

More about Cloud 9's GOTS quilting weight cotton. Wait, what? GOTS? What is GOTS? Is that a nice way of saying 'I GOTS to have this fabric!'? Maybe. But it also stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, and is one of the highest standards for organic products out there. If you'd like to read more about it, check out the Global Standard website, and if you'd like to know more about why choosing organic fabric is a good idea, check out Cloud 9's website. For where to buy, check out Cloud 9's FAQ's on their website. They have links for online shoppingstores in the USA, and International. And if you'd like to buy products made form Cloud 9 fabrics, they have links to those too!
