Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day!

I know I'll forgot to post this on the 4th, so it's coming to you today! I've had the idea of an American flag quilt in my head for a while, and it's finally come to fruition. Although, since I've done a bit more quilting, and know that I am a pretty horrible project finisher, it's not a full quilt, just a small pillow cover (um, I mean, it will be, when I finish it). But I did nearly everything right, by the book (as far as I know), and it turned out great. I really like how it ended up, so maybe a throw quilt is in the future.

Fabrics used: Solid neon pink was a $1/yard grab, shoulda bought the bolt. The rest is Indian Summer and Luxe in Bloom. See Art Gallery Fabric's website for where to buy.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe 4th of July, whether you're celebrating Independence Day, or it's just a regular Thursday (turns out they won't celebrate US holidays in Brazil).
